Beth Hanning Rejoins DEFENSEWERX to Lead DHS Pilot Innovation Hub

Beth Hanning rejoins the DEFENSEWERX team to stand-up and lead the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Pilot Innovation Hub, the newest DEFENSEWERX effort. As the Program Manager, Beth will oversee daily operations to ensure that the hub meets the needs of its government customer.

Beth brings extensive experience as she previously served as a Transition Director with DEFENSEWERX. While in the role, Beth was responsible for standing up AFWERX Innovation Hub in Las Vegas while building business processes and marketing plans, creating strategic relationships, and ensuring a successful opening of the now renowned hub. During her career, Beth held various roles in Information Technology and STEM education, to include establishing the SOFWERX college internship program with the University of South Florida.

Beth received her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Wright State and her Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology from Walden University.
